Where did the name Biz come from?

They used to call me Bizee Body or Bizy Body (Busy Body) because I really can’t stop moving, feel me, I’m like really active, yuh know.  I would be in town one minute and outta town the next. It kinda started one day when I had went to my low rider club meeting earlier in the day, then I flew to Seattle, linked with some other homies, and drove up to Canada and, true story, ran into one of my homies in the club on the dance floor in Canada, crazy, yuh know. Over the years Bizee Body got shortened to Biz e Bee. (hence the publication company Biz e Bee Book Group) Biz e Bee got shortened to Bizee. Bizee got shortened to Biz. 

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Belize. My dad was killed by his best friend at 30 years old. I was not born yet, feel me. I was still in my mom's belly. 

My mom put in motion to leave and finally left the country and moved to Los Angeles when I was 2 years old. I grew up right in the middle of Crip neighborhood. I participated when I was young but then it stopped working for me when I decided to sell drugs in other gangs neighborhoods, you know, that happened when I got a moped. 

How long have you been doin music?

Since like 15 years old, me and my brother KB just rapped all the time, freestyled all the time, yuh know. Rappin and discovering beer and weed, yuh know. We thought we had a deal back then but we got played. We wrote a song called “a bullet with no name” (Years and years before Nipsey Hussle made the “Bullets ain’t got no name” mixtape series)a Stop The Violence organization but they stole it from us, they recorded it themselves word for word, my verse and KB’s verse, we got no credits or nothing.

What personal projects have you done?

For music:

My Freshman  album is called “First Time in The Booth”

My Sophomore album is called “The 2nd Letter”

My third album is called “ ...I’m really into singles tho., you feel. Any album from me is more like a collection of singles over a  period of time in my life, yuh know. 

Is music the only thing you do? 

 I put about 5 books out. “Be Like That Sometimes”  part one and two  “24”  “The Dangerous Sex Chronicles” “Birth of a King” 

I’m more of a producer than anything, I don’t mean producer as in making beats, I like to create, yuh know. I produce songs for myself and others I create stories, produce books, and produce movies. I breed dogs, I produce puppies, yuh know. 

Do you live what you rap?

Half of that stuff i don’t do anymore, Thank God, you feel, I do get a kick out of telling my story in songs tho. It’s therapeutic 

Have you ever been shot?

No. but i’ve been in a lot of shootouts, nowadays we call it “playing ball." It is like a sport tho for real. 

Have you ever shot anyone?

Yes. 

Honesty, I can say most of the time I engaged was in self-defense. I can also say that I sleep really good at night because to my knowledge I have never killed anyone. 

Do you practice Gun Safety?

Hell yeah, that’s too much power for accidents, I take all precautions now, yuh know, but I learned the hard way.  you feel me, On 3 different occasions with 3 different shotguns and 3 different friends, true stories, once I almost shot my friend Leon in the chest, the shot went right into the couch where had just just stood from. Wowzers! He had just had a baby, how would I tell his girlfriend and his mom, she already didn’t like me. He said he would’ve told me to drag him outside and say it was a driveby. I would’ve too. Another time my friend Ralph accidentally blew 12 gauge bucks shots right passed my head, I fell hard and fast, my face was hot and throbbin. It happened in the enemy’s hood (use your imagination on why we were over there) People started heading our way. I had to pick myself up and Run! I remember having to squeeze into the back hatch of a corvette as we burned rubber. lol. 

Another time My Friend Joe Joe did the same shit Ralph did but the blast put a big hole in the dirt next to my foot. 

So yeah PLEASE KEEP GUNS OUT OF THE REACH OF KIDS AND DUMB ADULTS!!!
