Star Wars: The Last Jedi – What’s it all about? Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.

The Last Jedi-Is a good sequel to The Force Awakens

1st viewing: This Star Wars movie takes more risks at becoming something more. It demands to define itself from the rest of the star wars movies. If you go back and look at the original 1977 movie you’ll notice it’s princess lela and a whole lot of white guys. This one is filled with lots of women, men, different races and faces.

I’m so glad they’ve changed Star Wars for the better. It feels like a movie ahead of its time. The people involved in this star wars really wanted to push the bar.  They really have succeeded in opening up the visuals and stories.

The movie balances comedy and lighter tone really well. Rey and Skywalker are face to face for the first time and Luke throws the light saber like it’s nothing. The movie keeps a light tone as we the movie goers enjoy the nostalgic feelings of watching a star wars movie.

The dark side has it’s serious side and doesn’t like to joke a lot. We only get jokes about Kylo Rens anger and silly the jokes on you dark side moments.

This movie had me really into it. The end caught me a little off guard. I wasn’t really happy about it. I don’t know it felt cheesy. But hey we gotta see what happens in Star Wars: Episode IX to truly rate how good this movie is and was.

FINAL SNORE: 0 Snores out of 5 Snores.  For a new Star wars movie it’s among the best. It’s in my top 3 favorite star wars movies. I’m excited for Episode IX to see how it all wraps up.

2nd viewing: Boy this second viewing is really good. I’m noticing more that I really like about the production of the last jedi. The score is mighty and fine. The Netflix visuals are still good on a home screen. However, this is a must see on the big screen in a movie theater.

FINAL SNORE: 0 Snores Out of 5 Snores. A true classic. This movie will age well in time and remembered as a great star wars movie. May the force be with you.
